The Shelter is a not for profit group and relies on Government funding, corporate partnerships, grants and donations to be able to deliver the level of services required within the Newman community and surrounding communities.

You can help The Shelter:

• By donating- including cash donations, gifts and bequests.
• The Shelter is a Public Benevolent Institution with tax deductibility status. To make a tax-deductible donation you can deposit directly in to the Newman Women's Shelter Charitable Gift Fund BSB: 306-089 Account: 3758799.  Use your name as the online reference.  Please email us your details via the Contact Us page if you would like to obtain a tax deductible receipt. 
• Through corporate, community and philanthropic partnerships.
• By donating new items or used items in good condition that can be distributed to those in need.
• By volunteering – speak to The Shelter to see how you can help.
• By holding an event such as a quiz night or other fund-raising activities and using The Shelter as your cause.
• By inviting us to speak. An experienced representative from The Shelter will present at events and to groups providing a comprehensive overview of family and domestic violence and how, as a community, we can make our place safe.
