What do we game?
Despite our name, the Napoleonic period is not the only one that we cover … or at least it hasn’t been for some time now!
The range of gaming that takes place is as broad as the imagination of our membership … whether historical periods such as Classical, Medieval, Renaissance, Napoleonic, American Civil War, Colonial, and World War II … or Fantasy and Science Fiction which are also very popular.
How do you start?
Looking at a typical wargame and thinking about the time and expense involved in a collection of model figurines can be very daunting! Like any hobby it is best to start off with something modest, and then progress as your interest and skill levels grow.
So why not visit us on a club night, get involved in a few games, and see where your interests lie?
If you like jousting with Lancelot, walking the fields of Waterloo, locking horns with Rommel in the North African deserts or defeating Orcs, Elves or Daleks, then your own interest will ensure a lasting and rewarding hobby.
